In my previous post about riding around Nantucket with the Schwinn Summer House crew, I shared some of my favorite must-see spots. While biking is hands-down my preferred method of travel on the island (there's numerous trails and bike rental shops that make it safe and easy to get around), it can get a bit arduous for those who don't usually bike long distances— myself included! Luckily Nantucket has numerous spots to rest and refuel throughout your ride, so there's no reason not to "put the … [Read more...]
I’m thrilled to be returning for another year as a 2017 Schwinn Ambassador! For the past four years, I have documented my adventures as a rookie or “tyro” to big city life in Boston and my journey through college along the way. My blog is my creative outlet and personal happy place where I share everything from my travels along the Eastern Seaboard to collegiate life in Boston, my love of fashion, and anything else that inspires me along the way! As I finish up my last semester of college this spring, I’m excited to see what new adventures lie ahead later this year. It’s sure to be a wild ride!
Original Article by Brand Ambassador Tia of Big City Tyro While there are many places in this world that will always have a piece of my heart, none will ever take the coveted spot of my self-designated happy place: Nantucket. Interning in NY last summer was undoubtedly one of the best experiences of my life and to be lucky enough to do it all over again this summer is truly a wonderful twist of fate! While I love NY as much as the next city girl, Boston will always have a special place in my heart. This year, I had a month after classes ended to really explore new neighborhoods and discover … [Read more...]
Original article by Brand Ambassador Tianna: Big City Tyro. April showers have grown some "wicked" beautiful May flowers in Boston as of late. Summer seems to be creeping up and soon enough the days will be full of bike rides to the farmer's market, picnics in the parks, and weekend coffee runs. To ensure that I will be fully … [Read more...]
