Madison, Wis. – January, 2014 – The iconic bike brand Schwinn, a division of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), has partnered with UNIQLO, the global clothier, to produce a line of tops to be included in UNIQLO’s printed T-shirt collection. The brand currently features designs from an array of premier companies including Star Wars, Fender, and Snoopy among others.
This new relationship will highlight Schwinn’s strong American brand presence with international recognition. This partnership will bring Schwinn into a new retail space and further enhance the lifestyle component of cycling, which is becoming increasingly popular around the world.

The UNIQLO/Schwinn apparel will feature several designs including imagery from Schwinn’s vintage assets as well as their highly recognizable logo and other products. T-shirts will be available during the 2014 holiday season and will be sold in UNIQLO retail locations in Australia, China, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
